How far are you
from the farm…
a mile or a generation?
"Just 50 years ago 1/2 of the population of our United States lived on the land" —Michael Ableman.
The public was invited to write a short story in response to the question "How far are you from the farm…a mile or a generation." These stories were then used to fill a wall with the responses. We all have something important to say about our experiences with the land, even if it is to say that we have none. Hundreds of stories of these stories were gathered.
